This group has been organized for those who enjoy or would like to learn various crafts -- from all needle work, to pottery, to basket weaving, to paper crafts to... Each month in the newsletter, craft classes and get-togethers will be announced. There is not a designated class day/date; each month is decided by availability of the leader. Please stop by the Craft table at the New Comer's meetings to see what the new classes will be and information about arts and craft classes in the New Bern area. While at the craft table, please fill out a questionnaire so that Sue will know of your interests.

An artist has to start somewhere.  Norm Robins is an artist and teacher of many different methods of painting.  His class of Water Color starts with the fundamentals of line drawing.  Through his entertaining methodology, one creates through compulsion and intuition and then applies design laws.  There will be four classes with at least two finished paintings. Supplies can be purchased at the class with a 10% discount from Art & Materials.  Buddy up with a new friend and purchase supplies to share.  Cost of class will be $80.00 ($20.00 deposit required when signing up) and the location will be Art & Materials in downtown New Bern.  Dates and time to be announced, but will be in the evenings of late January and early February.
